How to shut off AutoText

Okay, guys... I'm sorry for the extremely elementary question here...

But I hate it when I go and try to search for something in Google (or any text box) and I begin to type in the first letter of what I'm searching for, and then it comes up with everything that I've ever searched for that starts with that letter.

So, how the heck do I get rid of this?

I've tried "Tools" > "Internet Options" > "Advanced" > and unchecking "Use Inline AutoComplete" and it still doesn't work. In fact, when I went to uncheck it, it was already unchecked...

What am I doing wrong?

you can put your mouse over the selection and press "delete" it'll be deleted. Also, you need to go to Internet options- content- autocomplete- and select "forms" or anything else you don't want.
