How To Tell Harddrive Type?

Hi,

I am wondering how i can find out what type of harddrives i have, as in ATA or SATA ect... I have Everest, but im lost, and cant find where to look.
If anyone can lead me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated.

In Everest, 'Storage -> ATA -> Interface' should tell you. You should also be able to find that out by looking at the PATA/SATA controller in Device Manager.
 
I have looked in Everest and found the Interface for my slave harddrive (200gb): Interface Ultra-ATA/133
Is this any good? And Why would it not show my master harddrive (40gb with Windows)?

Yes, that's the fastest PATA interface.

Not sure, but Device Manager should still tell you. This information should also be flashed up during boot up (after POST, before Windows starts loading).
 
Thank-you for your help, although i could not find the master harddrive's information, i will be sure to check on next reboot.
