Well i started to overclock my cpu yesterday but the temp's where starting to rise so i put it back to normal speed, untill i get a new HSF for my cpu. So i wanna know whats the most accurate program to tell what frequency your CPU is running at? I'm getting different frequency's in PC Wizard 06 and CPU-Z.

Use easytune you will find it on the CD that is provided with your mobo.
You can use it to overclock.

Well actually there the same now, i dont know what was going on. Before PC Wizard 06 was saying like 2.68GHz and CPUZ was saying like 2.72GHz. I just wanted to know what the EXACT frequency is.

oh comeon, thats nothing. it always fluctuates anyway and if you have your multiplier and bus then you get it anyway too

but it always is fluctuating

No dont oc it in windows - its a bad idea - too much instability. The BIOS is the best way to go. And yes, Easytune should be the best one to check according to ur mobo
