How to tell?

I know tehre are different types of PSU, like ATX, , TFX, BTX, etc, but what is the iddfference between the technical stuff?

like :

20 pins
24 pins
different pin molexes and stuff .......
Also which one do i need for a AMD (939) mobo?

ok cheers reading now :D .....

i m gonna get this case adn it comes with a power suply, i m going to trust it bcoz its aspire X, any ways the pwoer supple says:
• 1 x Main Power
• 1 x 12V (P4)
• 4 x Peripheral
• 1 x Floppy
• 1 x SATA

1 x main power, how do i know if its 20 or 24 pins? 1x 12V (p4) does it mean it wont work with my AMD?

Well im guessing thats a good psu because its a 420 W, and it has 20A on the +12 v rail which I think should be fine.
But you should ask more ppl :)
 
seems like an old powersupply cause its not even listed on their website...hmmm
Also, what do you want to do with yoru computer? If you wana go sli then 20amps is not enough.
