How to transfer Microsoft Office ?

i have an older computer that i am replacing with a newer computer, so im backing up all the files and documents to load onto the new computer,

is it possible to transfer the microsoft office package over to the new computer somehow? the computer is over 10 years old so i dont have the installation cd or anything like that to load onto the new computer

With Microsoft Office, I highly doubt it even using those programs that supposedly transfer programs over. Office requires many registry entries to work correctly. You can use Open Office software as its compatible with Office files.

You can google "transfer programs to new computer". There are some software can do the job.
Usually this is not very complicated.
