How to turn of numlock on start up?

Whenever the Windows is loaded, numlock is automatically turned on!
That's damn annoying!
Please tell me how can I turn of this automatic numlock?

I have heard that if you press the num lock key one time before boot up it will never boot "on" again, but I don't know or I cannot even test it since niether me or my wife run windows, we have Ubuntu computer that boots with num lock ooff. Give it a try though and please tell me if it worked.

That's true but then Windows could turn it back on (or off)...

Most likely it's the BIOS. Usually Windows saves the state of your numlock key.
