How to turn spooler back on?

I have a dell photo printer 720 and could print good.
But today i couldn't print because it said that it couldn't detect any printers. But then I went to all programs and checked if it was there and it was. then i uninstalled it and tried to install it again but a sign said
that the setup had detected that the spooler service is stopped. Any ideas on how to fix this?

Probably need to take a look at the "Print Spooler" service. Right click on My Computer and go to Manage.

From Computer Management Click on "Services and Applications" then click on Services and scroll through the list until you get to "Print Spooler" The status should be stopped. If it is, right click on it and press Start.

A reboot will restart the spooler service unless its set to manual or disables. Or is there is some other underlying problem.

i did that but when i clicked on start a sign appeared saying could not start the print spooler service on local computer. Error 1068: the dependency service or group failed to start.

what should i do?:(

you can try a number of things to get PSS (print spooler service) back online

1. Open Task Manager (CTRL + ALT + DEL) go to processes and click FILE - NEW TASK. type "spoolsv.exe"

2. PSS has a dependency on another service called Remote Procedure Call (RPC) you may well want to see if this service has started up or is all OK etc...

3. ok, im out of ideas already, crap
