how to update bios?

I have intel ca810E i get lots of folders then it says IFLASH then i run the theres this - constantly flashing second per second is that what it is suppouse to do?

BIO is flashed to be updated basically when you start your computer with the hard drisk in it will read it (or you may need to use a boot disc and point to directory to run it) then you will run the file and it will load and then flash.
It will tell you when it's complete.

I thought updating the bios is done by floppy drive.

I have windows xp how do i disalble my desktop thats what they recommned doing cause could run thru some losses

If it doesnt boot up ok after the flash, unplug the PSU, turn it off, and do a 10 minute CMOS clear.
