I got a free computer from a friend and I have no clue to up grade from XP.....is it even possible?
we have been trying to open the down load page....and it keeps saying "cannot open page"
What are the specs of the machine? Ram and processor? You have to buy an operating system, just can't download one. Most likely its too old to upgrade anyway.
Sounds like you don't have internet access. A lot of antivirus programs won't work with XP anymore, they discontinued support for it. Avast still supports it though.
