How to watch on two screens

Hi everybody...I have a Toshiba Satellite 5200 laptop with GeForce 5600 graphic card. There is a special cable with it to watch on the TV or some other devices. Anyway...I am puting this one and connect it to my TV...then I go to the properties of the Graphic card....and put to have a Clone view....and as second screen I select TV output..till now everything is great...the picture appears on both screens... The thing is when I put to play a movie I dont see the movie on the TV I see everything exept the movie ...the picture is just black...on the laptop screen it plays normally...The only way to watch it normaly on the TV is to put normal view....meaning one screen and as output select TV then the screen of the laptop goes off and everything is shown on TV but this sucks everytime to do that....
Any ideas what could be done?? There is also this button on the keaboard that supposed to change between laptop screen and external screen but till now I didnt manage to make it work...dont know how it works...

If anyone could help me...I would be very thankfull!!

You cant watch stuff fullscreen on multiple screens. There is a reason for this and i think it has to do with antipiracy measures.
 
So is there faster way to change screens from laptop to TV or everytime I have to go to settings and do the procedure from the beginning?!
 
nVidia drivers come with a nView thingy (look at your system there, there should be an nVidia application there) which might let you switch back and forth between the two :)
