How to write formulas

Hi All,

How can i write Electrical Formulas on my computer, is there software needed for all the symbols etc.

If so is there a free download anywhere

I've noticed that most symbols that you can think of can be written by using so called ALT codes, ie. holding down ALT while typing 234 on the numpad will produce Ω. Lists on symbols can be found by searching for ALT code and then for example math or greek letters, as all symbols might not be on a single site so you might have to search for specific symbols.

if you have Word on your pc, there is a formula maker in there (cant remember what its called in english tough)

In Word 2007, Insert -> Equation.
In Word 2003 and earlier, Insert -> Object -> Microsoft Equation 3.0
