I was listening in my PC to hear where most of the noise came, and I noticed the graphics card fan was very very loud... Is there a way to make it go slower and thus make it more silent??

well you have to consider that it is a very good graphics card, i don't know how loud that one actually is but obviously it needs some cooling. it is prob better askin a person with the same card and compare the noise levels.

Yeah:
1. Get a new cooling setup because (a) the fan is gonna be loud and nothing's gonna change that, (b) the fan is messed up

2. Clear out any dust etc

3. Downclock the card

4. Redefine what loud is, the 9600 fans are by far not loud.
