So I just bought a new laptop and was wondering what type of games i could play with decent performance. I haven't had a new comp in a while so the best game I could play was Civ4, which is a fantastic game. Perhaps Gods and Heroes when it comes out. I was thinking of playing a shooter type game as I haven't had one since Duke Nuke Em'. My important specs are as follows:

Intel Core 2 Duo Processor,T5200,1.6 GHz
2 GB RAM DDR2-SDRAM
160 GB 7200
NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600
17" WXGA+ BrightView Widescreen Display (1440x900)

Thanks!

Thanks! I've just never gamed on a laptop and always had some reservations about it...guess I will find out when it arrives!

sweet! what laptop is it? sounds like mine :)

only game i really play on mine is WOW. it runs great! settings turned up and all.

wow

lol if it ran at 2GHz it woud be the king of laptops. that looks fairly powerfull for a laptop i would think you could play most games on it

That 7600 go graphics card should be able to handle most modern games. I don't know how much that differs from a 7600GT desktop graphics, if they are similiar then you can play supreme commander on low. That games even lags an 8800GTX with everything maxed out.

most modern games yeah. uh this is alittle off, but why are requirments doubled for mac? well not double, but signifigantly higher for alot of games?

is that a 7600go graphics card? cause i have a 6800go in my laptop (256mb) its good enough to play most games on but i dont think they perform as well as the rest of the 7600's as they are low power cards...
