how can you reduce ur ping when playing a game such as counterstrike?

The only way I know of is to close out all other programs that will use your internet connection (IMs, Internet, WMP, etc.), and shut down any other computers on your network if you use a router.

Other than that, you'll have to look into a different ISP, or a faster internet subscription.

I hate playing with people who has laggy internet connections. They jerk around, as if they are teleporting. ><
