well i want to know what to expect from some pc parts i have laying around...an asus socket 754 board, not sure which model but it does have spdif out and a via chipset. with it will be an amd athlon 64 3200 (vanice core), 1 or 2 gigs of kingston ddr400 ram, 80 gig wd hdd, dvd burner, 550 watt psu by asus, agp ati x1600xt gpu w/ pci tv wonder 650, or i may just use an all in wonder 2006 by ati, c media 5.1 sound card...any suggestions, like i said these are just parts im not using...any recomendations for more ram or any thing would be great as well as maybe knowing what i could maybe sell it for (but im not selling it on here cause i dont have enough postings 'for the record') please give a price opinion with 1 gig ram compared to 2, as well as keeping tho better agp and tv tuner or just using the all in wonder...thanks again

I would use the X1600XT. It should run most games just fine. Mine is still able to run the latest games on full graphics but that won't last.. it is just starting to show it's age. For ram, I'd go for 2 gigs in dual channel (2x1GB).

What about an AM2 socket X2 CPU, Or Intel's Core 2 Duo.
Also, If you're gaming 2GB of RAM is a lot better, plus it'll be future proof.
80GB HDD, is plenty.
What about a PCI-e card, AGP is getting a bit dated at the moment, You can get a 7600GS or something, not too expensive and it'll play games pretty decent. :)
