none of the things that you are buying are really gonna let you see a serious increase in performance. it will make it look better and give u better internet.but no serious performance increase, but i doubt u were looking for that.

we dont know your previous spec so we cant comment on a speed increase but it should be fine for almost anything you decide to do on it. the only thing i would say is that the graphics card would hold you back somewhat in more modern games.
make sure you buy yourself a few decent case fans as you need to make sure that you have good airflow in your system because even though the LGA 775 prescott are improved over the previous ones they can still run quite hot at times

The 775 Prescott has improved LOADS over the 5xx series, never gone past 48 C load @ 3.95Ghz :D (With Tt Big Typhoon)

i think the main point here is that although you're overclocked you have what i would consider to be a somewhat extreme air cooling solution, so naturally your temos would be lower than the stock cooler

No, lol, i am not upgrading a current computer.
These are parts i have already bought and the parts i am going to buy are to build totally new pc.

With my lack of experience, all I could say is to get a bigger (or additional) hard drive. 80GB gets eaten up real fast with broadband internet.

Maybe for some, but i have a 80 harddrive in my current computer which i have had for 4 years. I don't keep loads of movies, games, only the necessary things i need.

How much money did you spend on the stuff you have and how much do you intend to pay for the upgrades?

In australian dollars, the things i have bought, cost 812 AUD, converted = 610 USD.

The things i am going to buy costs: 955 AUD = 718 USD

Total: 1767 AUD = 1,329.15 USD

I' m betting you can get way better prices in USA, but thats just lucky for your guys.
