it will be used to run massive databases and numerous macros at the same time. also i will be needing it to run many programs that cannot be slow or lagging. my current p 4 3g, 3xx ram and 5400 rpm hard drive 128 video doesnt cut it. no gaming.

Okay, makes sense...

Hard Drive WD 160GB 7200rpm 8MB Cache
Video Card PowerColor Radeon 9250 256MB
Sound Card Sound Blaster Audigy ES 5.1
Speakers Creative Z-640 Speakers
wait... 160GB is a massive database?
why do you need a Radeon 9250 256MB video card for a database?
and Sound Blaster Audigy ES 5.1 ?? and speakers???

hmmmm...

well i need a dual monitor setup and and a video card that can handle 2048x 15xx resolution(lots of programs running with no overlap)... also, i like listening to music while i work- helps time go by faster so i think the money on the sound card is well spent, besides its only 40$. i think i will add additional hard drives when i fill one up. (my current access databases can only go to 2gigs a piece) fill about 3 a month = 6 gigs each - lots of space. i think all of the macros/progrmas running at the same time are making my current computer slow more than anything.
i guess my initial use for computers wasnt clear enough

In one file? Hell ya (especially if its just text)

why do you need a Radeon 9250 256MB video card for a database?
