hey everyone jsut want to see what everyone thinks of this build for gaming. constructive criticism is most welcome. thank!

mobo-evga nforce 780i
cpu-intel core 2 quad q6600
gpu- geforce gtx260
ram-ocz reaper 4gb (2x2gb)ddr2 800
psu-ocz 850 watt
thermaltake ruby orb cpu cooler
thermal paste- ocz freeze thermal extreme conductivity compound
monitor-lg 20" widescreen
3.5 slot-prolynx internal all in one card reader with usb
os-windows vista home premium 64bit
burner-lite on super all-write
dvd-rom- lite on combo drive
hdd- seagate barracuda 500gb
case- nzxt tempest crafted series

total is roughly 1800 canadian

I also need ideas for a keyboard mouse and (eventually) speakers all should be decent for gaming like crysis. thanks alot any help is much appreiated!
 
yikes man,, lol thats a little much for a mouse and keyboard for me.. im sure there excellent. but i was hoping for somthing a little cheeper.. just good enough so i can fullly enjoy fallout 3 farcry 2 crysis etc.. lol
 
How are you guys spending 1800 Canadian, and not getting a decent video card? I'm building from ncix, and for $1000 CDN, I get a Q6600, 4GB Ram, ATI 4850.
 
man the geforce gtx 260 is an amazing vid card , i dont kno alot about them but i kno that there top of the line.
 
great build. I wish I could get it. :D The only thing I would change right now is to add a second 500GB SATA Drive to run raid 0. then your build would be perfect.

yeah they are pricey but there worth every penny :D
 
ok thanks i actually had 2 of them on my shopping cart but took 1 off. i figure i can just add another once it gets close to full. i dont really do alot of stuff that needs saving . i also took off the all in one card reader.. up close that thing is butt ugly, kinda want somthing with maybe a blue led on the front t go with my fans.. maybe a card reader slash fan controller??

i play crysis often, and what i use is an xbox 360 wireless gamepad. they sell a usb interface device for it. it works extremely well, in fact its the only part of my 360 that still works. thanks microsoft, a $300 gaming console and the only thing i can use right now is my game pad with my pc!!!
