are you dealing in GBP or USD?
i dont think you need to put up every single detail, either...puts people off reading it.
also, your video card looks a bit out of place. I'd go with a 6600gt, a 9800 or a 5900xt.
and, for the things you are wanting to do the 3gig pentium seems a bit much and won't be able to perform to its full potential with 512 ram.

looks good, id recomend getting a px-712A instead of the DVD Burner that u have there, and the video card does seem verry out of place, DONT GET A GE-FORCE FX, other than that it sounds good, and the 3gig doesnt seem outa place cause u want room to expand the ram later down the road :)

well, id say that he should leave it at 512 so that he has room to upgrade later, i mean from what he says hes doing, he wont need that much power... so long as half-life 2, doom 3, FarCry, and Halo are left out...

looks good, id recomend getting a px-712A instead of the DVD Burner that u have there
But if (s)he isnt gonna use the features of the PX712 -- and not very people ever really do -- like the ability to do proper EFM for instance, then the 108 is the better choice.

As for RAM, 512MB should be good for most things :)
