Yea so does this look good? Will it overclock well? will it have enuf cooling? will it play games well? I also need to include a monitor, speakers, mice and a keyboard for the rest of the budget.

You can get a cheaper motherboard that does not have SLi feature since you're only getting one video card. Unless you have 2 video cards, SLi capabilities are a complete waste.

The CPU cooler will not be compatible. That one is for an LGA775 Intel socket, you need an AMD s939 base cooler.

You need an Operating System.

Ret looks good. RAM ill be your only bottleneck I think. 1GB is good to start, however if you find your machine is laging while playing intense games you maybe need up to 2GB. Also, overclocking with Corsair Twin-X can be a challenge I'e heard. They are good sticks, jut not "the best" in my book.

When i upgrade, ill probably get another 7800gt. I guess ill change the cpu cooler. I have an operating system and ill look for better ram. Is OCZ Gold ram good for overclocking?

-I agree with 4w4k3 on the mobo idea unless you want it for future upgrades.

-Also my experience with that mobo and corsair ram == bad news bears. Do some research on the DFI site and find out what ram is compatible.

-While on that site see if anyone has had any problems with that PSU with the mobo. I know there was some debate about not having a native 24 pin plug can F*** stuff up.

-I would also recommend, if you have the money, that you grab another HDD so you can raid. It makes load times much faster.

Yea the psu already comes with a 24 pin connector (it can disconnect the 4 extra pins if needed). and does anyone have an idea for a good monitor, speakers, mouse and keyboard for the rest of the money? (gaming grade would help )

OCZ Gold is superb. I have the PC3500 GX 2*512MB Kit and it will do 260MHz 2-2-2-5. OF course that's no world record, but good for overclocking on an A64 or Opteron based computer. OCZ is in fact my favorite brand of RAM. Look a there titanium and platinum series as well.

Seems pretty expensive, but thats Canadian dollars so I can't really compare it to USD. I'd look around and see if you can find a review on them, o a similiar kit, see how thy performed, and then decide. I've not owne that kit so i can't tell you how far they will overclock...
