Hows This for Overheating

i've read about those p4's running hot i have in the living room that if oced even 1mhz goes wach i don't if it is heat or just the fsb. any ways i hit that dust with the air compressor and blowgun i think it cranks up to 70 or 80 psi it doesn't do any damage either at least if your smarter than a bag of hammers it doesn't. also it funs to take fans and watch them hit a baggillion rpms with the blowgun hehe.

Yeah man. Regular people don't know that they occasionally have to clean out their computer... They don't think that it collects dust... :| But that creates more work for people like you and I ! :D Google is running us out of the computer business because people just google their computer problems before going to a repair man :(

oh yeah i know your right! ive seen alot of pc's die way before there time due to dirt, and dust buildup.

1. High pressure air can cause loosely soldered components to come off a board.
2. Spinning the fans with that air can ruin the bearings.
3. P4's overclocked pretty well actually, they still hold the record for highest clock afaik.

yeah i know this but, i've never considered the crappy solder joints the fans i don't hit hard i usually hold them still but, i do have extras in the parts bin i have played with hehe. I've had good luck so far i've cleaned bunch this way but, i'm not a complete idiot and am careful not to damage anything i don't get the blow gun too close or focus the air stream on vulnerable parts like caps and what not. maybe i should try looking at the multi if that can be changed.
