hows this memory?

i have heard good things about G.skill, and im not planning on OC'ing so i guess you cant beat the price? lol...im on a tight budget as you can see in my sig :P
 
Some people here use G.Skill for their build and I don't they face any problem at all... at least not that I know of... :)

yeah, i have seen a few around here...also on the mobo i have it says DDR2 800, now will DDR2 667, 675 ect. work? or is ddr2 800 just the best way to go?
 
well, what I know is if you put DDR2-800 RAM into 667 mobo it will work but you are not getting the best out of your RAM... but I am not sure if it is the other way around... My guess is it wouldn't work...

What is your mobo?

im thinking it "might" would work but im probably going to get this G. Skill and my mobo's in my sig...Foxconn 590sli AM2

but yeah get the G.Skill RAM it should be good for you... :)

as a side note, if I remember correctly, there was someone saying that if you put 667MHz RAM in you won't notice the difference compared to 800MHz...
again I think you would be better off getting that RAM... sorry for my rambling... :P

Goes farther than that.. you would see no difference gaming with PC3200 RAM compared to PC6400. Even in the benchmarks you would see less than a 10% difference. DDR2 is much more overclock friendly obviously though...
