Hows this PSU?

pretty good psu.

I have the 700watt version but the ocz gamestream and so far it kicks ass.

Thanks, that corsair looks like a good one too...that OCZ i posted has 4x12v rails a 18a each, so that should power about anything right? my main thing is being "future proof" such as a possible sli 8800's ect. if theres any other options out there throw em at me, suggestions never hurt :P

That's really not going to be good for SLI'd 8800s. If you want something to handle a pair of those you're going to need to spend more money.

running 8800's in SLI is best left to a high quality PSU above 750 watts according to Johnny guru

I really like that Thermaltake toughpower 850 @ $269.00 ish

but if you are going to run about 700.00 worth of video cards you better have quality juice !!

Yes that OCZ 700 watt will easily run one *8880 GTS it will actually run one 8800 GTX

the OCZ 700 watt is a decent unit @ $99.00 at tiger direct]

for my money; I would throw in another $30.00 and get the Corsair 620 watt which out peforms and much quieter too!!

when you have $900.00 in a rig; it makes no sense to skimp now ????????
