HP 70150 Problem

I hate printers >_<

Anyway, someone came to me today asking why his printer is not working. He told me he replaced the cartridges and now it will not print anything besides test pages. I asked him the usual string of questions. "Make sure it's connected properly, did you reinstall/update the drivers, did you make any major changes to your operating system like a system restore or did it crash?"
All of the answers were positive, so I'm kinda stuck as to why, after changes cartridges and nothing else, the printer stopped printing documents. Any ideas?

Have them try shutting down the print service and then turning back on? My uncles printer did the same thing and this solved it.

Yep, tried that and didn't work, even unplugged it and plugged it back in.

EDIT: If you meant the program on the comp, yeah, he said he tried that too.

Bump

The guy still has the problem. He updated the driver and then even tried an older version. Still will only print test sheets. He ended up doing a repair install as well.

Hi - new member and not very computer knowledgeable. I have a problem along the same lines. I have 2 printers - HP Deskjet 710C and Epson CX7400. I replaced ink cartridges in both, and now neither of them will print. I keep getting the blinking light that shows no ink. I used correct cartridges. BUT, I only replaced the black cart.; not the other colors. Is that my problem? Do all have to be replaced??
