Hp add on problem

When I open up the new internet explorer 8, this message comes up on my screen everytime. "The 'hp web site' add-on version '2.15.7.0' published by 'hewlett-packard company' is not compatible with internet explorer 8. Can someone help me, as this stops the internet explorer from working.

Choose a different home page?

Use Firefox?
FYI, this isn't a home page issue. I have the same problem (different version of the add-on, mine was installed with the HP Solutions Center) & haven't found a solution except to either use Firefox (not possible with one site, work-related so I *must* use that site & because of the way they've coded it, despite my complaints, I *must* use IE on it-not even IE tab in FF seems to work, don't know what they've done, they just tell me to use 'real' IE or it won't work) or remove all HP software-which causes problems when I print. (I have an HP printer.)

I'm getting tired of removing the software so I can use the work website and reinstalling it so I can print. Fortunatley I only need to use the website once or twice/month so, for now, I'm putting up with it. If I ever find out exactly which HP software installs this carp I'll post back-but for now my only suggestion is to either use FF (if you can) or remove it all.
