Hey guys, I got a new laptop today and I got the Belkin router with it. I plugged everything in and I got online right away. The only thing that i'm having problems with are my downloads. I can go to webpages lightning fast, but when I try to download Ad Aware, or watch a youtube video, it loads to about 5% and then nearly stops downloading. No errors come up or anything, it slows down to the point where the download speed is like 56k, but my network properties say that its 54Mbps. The youtube videos generally load up to about 10 seconds in, and the adaware download went to 7%, then slow to a crawl.
Im running Vista Business. Any idea on what to do? Also, another problem i'm experiencing is th Internet explorer buttons. It wont let me get into Internet Properties. I'll click on it, but it wont do anything, I figure ill just switch to the new firefox, but lol, I cant download it. Ive disabled my Windows Firewall, but that didnt seem to do anything.
