Hp dv4000 vs HP zd6000

i have 1300$ and i want to buy a new laptop this december.
i browsed the www.hp.com site and i found two interesting models :
The HP dv4000 and the Hp zd6000.
I am a gamer, i'm planning to play games like DOOM3, Sims 2, Rome Total War, Ground control 2 etc............ on my new laptop.
the dv4000 is an intel based laptop with a
128MB ATI MOBILITY(TM) RADEON(R) X700 graphic card.
While the zd6000 is an AMD 64 based laptop with a
128MB ATI RADEON(R) XPRESS 200M w/Hypermemory(TM)

Which one is the best ?
have anyone tested those two models ?
Can anyone give me good advices ?

If you're going to play any decent games, you'll want the X700. The 200M is an IGP and won't be able to handle much.

I plan to take this CPU with my HP dv 4000:
Intel(R) Pentium(R) M Processor 740 (1.73 GHz)

Is it good for gaming ?

if you are planning on doing hardcore gaming why not get a desktop instead? you are going to get terrible battery life with the amd64 so i would go with the pentium M instead.
