Hello all, I have a HP pavilion 7000 and every once in while it just shuts off. Usually when I'm on the internet and seems to do it when down loading a pdf file but not always. Any clues?
You mean it shuts completely down or Reboots, some people get that mixed up. You battery could have a bad connection with its port, could have a bad RAM card or mainboard. Or mabe just a virus.

It just shuts off completely without rebooting. If I push the power button emediately after it shuts off it won't do anything. I have to wait a few seconds before pushing the power button and then it will boot up nomally.
