HP Laptop - Help - Constant Crahes

I bought a pavillion direct/online 18 months ago for my daughter for college with an extended warranty. It crashed.....sent out for repair.....2more crashes, 2 more repairs, now another crash. When the the first crashe happened they sent my daughter a new hard drive for HER to install. Going through HP is a nitemare. Anybody have a number at HP where I can get this thing resolved.....like pronto?:mad:
 
I dont have a number, but word of advice. I had hp. Dont buy another. They are nothing but trouble and their customer service sucks. Go with dell. Great prices and excellent customer service.
 
when you say "CRASH" what exactly do you mean ? what was the notebook doing or not doing ? and any error codes ...etc
actually the Dells are much cheaper,,,, I would take the HP any day of the week over a Dell.
as companys cut costs ...ALL the pc OEM tech supports are getting really bad.

Yeah, I'd say it's the other way around also. As for contacting HP- here's the number: 800-474-6836. You can also chat with them online also. Just click here and chose the Pavillion series you've got.
 
I've seen a few laptops from HP that appear to have the same problem as you describe. One call to HP seemed to do the trick and they were replaced...they never got back to me with what the problems was though unfortunately.
