HP p6803w upgrades

I'm looking to upgrade my hp p6803w. its bone stock 1 4gb ddr3 240 ram. my stock 750gb hdd went out now I have a 250gb and 2 500gb ext hdd. I'm looking to upgrade using the stock motherboard. I have the N-Alvorix-RS880-uATX (Alvorix) mother board using all amd stuff. My processor is AMD Athlon II X2 220 2.8 gh. Can I use a amd 3+ in that amd 3 processor? You can get a 3.8 or 4.0 for 75-85$. Does any one know if the F3-1333C9S-4GIS ram will work in my p6803w? Ive been playing with pc along time but never did processors or had to deal with so much new stuff. I dropped out of the game for a while. Just looking to play online games download and burn faster.
 
What if I upgrade my mother board to a am3+? My mother board is a atx style can you help me find a cheap upgrade? I play online games like on kongregate and armor games. I also do a lot of downloading a burning. I read I can keep my am3 and stock ram until I can afford upgrades of each.
 
If you upgrade your motherboard, you'll need a new case. An atx motherboard won't fit in the HP case and plus the case connections most likely won't connect to the new motherboard. Also, your OEM license for windows won't activate on a new motherboard.

You might as well just buy all new parts and new OS.
