I couldnt find the how much the power supply is but you may want to look at that as well becasue you may not be able to upgrade your video card without upgrading the power supply.

You might want to get a 700w power supply with at least 1 x 6 pin PCI-E 2.0 and 1 x 8 pin PCI-E 2.0. The 9800 needs those, but the 9600 only needs the 6 pin. Make sure you get one with enough power and connectors to avoid buying two.

Dude you don't need a 700 watt PSU for a 9800GT...I'm pretty sure the Corsair 520 watt one would handle it nicely with room to spare.

Yeah, it would but what I'm saying is it's probably best to buy a large psu now so it's good for more upgrades than you planned. Instead of getting one that works with one card, why not add a bit more power in case something else catches your eye?

I have a 1500w PSU right now, but I can supposedly run all that at 1200w.

I guess, but computers really don't use as much power as people think they do. I think my system draws about 350 watt under absolute maximum load. The only reason i got the 650 watt PSU is because it was on sale :D.

Lol. I have another PC with Q6600, 9600GSO and 2 x 750GB seagate barracuda's running off a 250w. haha it was a prebuilt because I had no money back then.
