hey guys i had to format my comp and i lost all the default hp wallpapers anyone know where I can find any

and yes i tried the search function, google, hp website and came up with nothing....:mad:
 
You can find an endless amount of free backgrounds by right clicking on images, photos, scenary, etc. and saving them in bmp not jpg format. A good search for free wallpapers will also turn several sites offering free screen savers as well as bmps. The problem there usually is adwares! :rolleyes:

How about wallpaper that changes automatically? downloads.com has a pair of freebies with that in mind. http://www.download.com/3150-2049-0.html
 
look on the recovery CD? other than finding an HP owner and burning them to disk or emailing them to you, not much you can do.
 
There was one place that supposedly has "original" HP wallpapers. ***LINK REMOVED***

maybe someone should point out that the site linked to is either Hentai Porn or Harry Potter Naked...... ADULT CONTENT NOT FOR KIDS.

Now, here is a link from HP with their original wallpapers sent with their presario pc's. I'm not sure which ones was yours, so take these and see if they are the right ones.

I'll go one step further. So much for IE 7's antiphishing filter. :rolleyes: The download at the link there is an older 95/98 set of HP backgrounds.
