hey, i have a hp zd8000 laptop so even though the problem isnt about the laptop itself, i thought id post it in the laptop section. I reformatted my windows since it needed to be done. After i reformatted, all the drivers are lost. I cannot do anything, not access wireless, listen ot music, and im limited to 1280x762 resolution. The specific model number is zd8307 if that helps. Please see if you can help me out on why this happened and how i can fix it. Thanks

if you had a recovery disk then the drivers are on that or you will of been provided with a driver cd for the mobo, if you used a normal windows cd then you will need to download the drivers from the web, go to the official webpage for your laptop and find your model there should be a download section on the webpage all you need to do then is download the mobo drivers and utilities then install them just make sure you download the right ones for your laptop

thats the problem, my laptop came from europe, and i cant find the drivers for everything off the hp site. The exact model number is zd8307, so if anyone can try and find me the drivers for: network card, sound card, display drivers, and the media drivers (sd slots n stuff)

everything works great now. i dont know why it happened, but after i installed vista ultimate instead of the xp i had, the first time i turned it on everything worked perfect. thanks for the help anyways
