hey guys i heard some great stories about this forum and i have decided to post a question. i have a hp ze4545us i bought a couple years ago. it came with 40gb harddrive and i want to get a 120-200 gb one. what do i need to know in terms of compatibility, ease of installation and perhaps price and brand?? i am ok with comps but u guys are the best so please let me know all yur thoughts. thanx man
 
I've really not seen any laptop drives larger than 120G, so good luck finding anything much bigger. I did a bit of research and the laptop apparently uses standard IDE, not SATA. Not that it makes a huge difference, just to help you find one ;P Still, I'd double check that as I couldn't find too much info on it.

However, if that's right, I found this 160G drive on newegg. I doubt you'll find anything much larger...
