hp zv6000 hdd

i have a hp zv600 with a dodgy hdd, i am going to replace it, but cant find any. will it take any ntfs hdd of the correct physical size? eg: 2.5'? i am also going to upgrade the ram and would like to upgrade the processor to something like 1.8ghz, is that possible?
 
Look on the bottom of the laptop for a sticker with the exact model number listed. The ZV6000 is a wide range of laptops.

However, it looks like you have an IDE harddrive and not a SATA. So any of these will work for you.

Forget about upgrading the processor as most cpu's can't be upgraded on laptops. You basically have an old system and should really save your money to get an updated laptop.
