Hp

From that very short add its hard to say. It doesn't even tell you the Ram. I'm also guessing it will only have a mediocre video card in it, but look into the model a bit more. That said I'm really not a fan of pre-made PC's, let alone brand name ones like HP and Dell. Sure they can spec them well but they just never seem to perform aswell as a nice custom build :)

The HP Pavilion Elite m9340f - Core 2 Quad Q6700 2.66 GHz is a Core 2 quad-based, mainstream computer.Compared to other mainstream desktop computers on the market, it is relatively inexpensive at around $1,115.This PC comes with 6 GB RAM, and a 750GB hard drive.

It has 6 gigs of 800 mhz ram and by todays standards it uses a sub par geforce 9500m video card. If you want this system for gaming, you would need to replace the video card, and that is some slow ram. The CPU is decent, but not worth the price of this system. You could build one better for the same amount or just a little bit more.

I would pass on it.

You need to scroll down a bit ;)

I would disagree with the what paratwa said about the RAM though. 800mhz isn't that slow.

Anyway, to answer your question, you would need a better GPU than the one it comes with. Other than that it is okay. Not great, but okay.
Like everyone says here, it is better to build your own.

i didnt think it was very good but my friend thought it was so i thought i would make sure

that comp wouldent be BAD for gaming, i play some games on a laptop with worse specs then that that cruise at 12 fps (not to bad) but really... there scamming you, and wtf? 6 gb ram but its uber slow? thats like putting SLI 9200 GPUs into your comp thinkin it will make it better... also the title itself makes me not want it

Again, it isn't "uber slow" ram... Also, the main problem for that comp is the GPU. Nothing wrong with refurbished computers. If it is done by someone who knows what they are doing. And 12fps is horrible >_>

from what I saw your processor speed is low and the system is a refurbished so you have no clue how well things will hold up in the long run
