hey guys. i have a project to do for uni which involves building a website with HTML and CSS.

i have hit a problem that i cannot solve, and im hoping someone here can help.

i have built a navigation bar into my website, this is quite small. i have justified it to the left using CSS. i am hoping to write text on the right next to it.
but, because the navbar is small the text on the right will "Wrap" round it. how can i stop this happening?

see how the bullet points wrap wrong the nav bar.

thanks for any help!!

You could use tables, remove the borders that way it will divide the website and your navbar would be the only thing on the left.

thats what i would have done last year. but for this course theyre not allowing us to use tables for that purpose for some reason. thanks anyway.

How about aligning the text to a X=200 (for example)? I think you can do that in CSS.
