Hey guys,. i was wondering.
For a HTPC setup.my TV for instance doesn't have a DVI or VGA input.
It has a ps2 type sorta connection labeled like e-video?

I was wondering. If i had say the ATI's all in wonder card
I still would beable to connect my PC to the TV right? what cable would i use for this?

Im confused about the topic:confused:

it would have to be some form of cable coming from the video output on the card..that connects to a tv. I cannot think of a cable that does that

Hey Jeff-

An all-in-wonder card would have the adapters and all the cables you need to attach it to your TV. It's designed for that. However, the important thing to consider, if you haven't already... is finding the right one with a Low Profile adapter if your unit is that. Otherwise, it should work alright.

These are the cables that come with the All in wonder card..well one of them
1 – Video/Audio Input Block
1 – Video/Audio Output Dongle
1 – 6’ Composite Video Cable
1 – 6’ S-Video Cable

Which would i use ? in my case

I referring to your HTPC case... if it's small... and the card itself is too big... you might have a problem. Being that I haven't seen your chassis to tell... some HTPC cases are low profile. Some are not. It just depends. I just wanted for you to be sure... otherwise you may run into this problem and start scratching your head... that's all...

Now, the 6' S- video cable goes to the back of your TV or cable/sat/top box to recv'd the video feed, unless your topbox/TV/Cable/SAT requires the composite... then you will be using that for video. The others are for audio. You have to hook them up to the topbox/TV/Cable/SAT on the right channel for audio.

I hope that helps?!
