Hi,
I just looked at the Vista website, and it mentions Hybrid Hard Drives... can someone please explain what a hybrid hard drive is, opposed to a regular hard drive? and how will Vista benefit from it?

A HD that runs on electricity AND gasoline... Spins a lot faster.

lol.... A HHD is a hard drive that combines normal HD tech and flash memory. Vista will have booting stuff on the flash part so it boots faster.

Aw sweet :D About time they start using more flash technology! It's much more reliable too!

Edit - I just read a quick review and they actually seem to plan on using them in laptops to save battery power. Basically only spinning it up when needed, using the flash otherwise.

Aha

I am looking forward to the time when we will only have flash HDDs. It will be faster and more reliable. However these HHDs would be a good step forward.

JAN :D
