I am at my End

I have a problem on my computer that makes all of the audio much slower. Everything sounds like Buffalo Bill from Silence of the Lambs. I have used:

* Avast antivirus
* AVG antivirus
* Ad Aware
* Spybot
* That Panda Website scan
* PCillin or whatever website scan

I've even updated all of my drivers for the machine and nothing is working.

My computer is an E Machine from 2002 and operates on Windows XP. If anyone has any idea on how to get rid of this problem that is slowing down all of my audio and my computer please let me know.
 
Download the latest driver
Start
Run
dxdiag
click on sound tab then click on Test direct sound and see if there is any errors
and make sure that the sound acceleration is set on full acceleration
 
reinstall your sound card and drivers to see if it is infact a problem with the sound card not a problem elswhere
