I got it to work! I updated the BIOS and everything boots good now. So far I am at 317 FSB / 2.528 GHz. at all stock voltage settings.
I have stock cooling. HOWEVER! It only gets that how when I run dual instances of Prime 95 with the max heat setting choosen. At idle its only like 37 C warmed up. And when fully loaded in my stability testing program its only like 41 C.
Sorry, my bad
Stock Cooling, Stock Voltage, FSB of 317Mhz.
Well Done.
Haha I still got a ways to go yet tonight. I am hopeing I can get it up to 3 GHz. with stock cooling.![]()
You should find that extremely easy.Especially with the DS3...
If you need any help - just ask.![]()
But can he get it up to 3GHZ with STOCK VOLTAGE?
Also, you said that it is easy with the DS3 - but can the same results be achieved with the GA-965P-S3?
well the d in ds3 stands for durable capacitors or something, the ones on the s3 are oldschool capaitors and the ds3 has solid capacitors that are supposed to last some odd years longer, i dont think theyre is a difference between them otherwise
