I broke the screen of someone's laptop, and now im not sure how to fix it!

OK, so, I was fixing a friends laptop, and though I fixed the issues it had, I (ironically) cracked the screen. Not a lot, just a little bit, but its there and its bad. Its kind of an old model, so it isn't showing up on the manufacturer website, so I can't even look up what kind of LCD it needs or how to open this thing so that I can service it! The back of it says Gateway Model No.: W3501
