I just purchased a Signal King SK-11TN USB WiFi antenna.
It seems to do a good job of finding networks that otherwise wouldn't have popped up on my wifi adapter's radar screen.
Many of these networks appear to have a strong signal, many with 3 and 4 bars.
But, whenever I attempt to connect to them, I usually get an error message stating that a connection couldn't be established.
I don't mean that there was some kind of security I couldn't circumvent; I'm never asked for a password.
It doesn't even get that far; it seems that I can't communicate with these networks at all.
Why is this happening, and how can I fix it?
