if someone could help with this it would be fantastic. i have tried using alcohol120% and deamon tools, but upon instalation it wants me to reboot to continue install, and then when i do, it wants me to reboot again, and again, and again. i tried using poweriso, magic iso, and virtual clone drive, but for some reason it never sets up a virtual drive properly. it is very frustrating and it probably is somthing stupid but ive tried looking on forums about it, and tried all kinds of things but to no avail, if someone could help me that would be great. thanks

My friend had a similar issue on his new computer. His issue was the simple fix of downloading Daemon Tools from the official site rather than a 3rd party site. Seeing as how you've tried multiple programs, I assume this is pretty unlikely. However if you haven't one so already, it might be worth a shot.

i was just kidding around. there are lots of legal uses of virtual drives. sometimes ill make images of games i bought and mount them in virtual drives so i dont have to find the cds and put them in. sadly, i wish i did that for world at war since i lost that damn cd :/

hey

ive tried deamon tools from their website, i am trying to do what the one dude said, mount them so i dont have to put in a cd all the time, i know you can use it illegaly but that isnt what im doing. my cd rom is old, veryold and loud so i dont want to use it, cd cracks are a good option but its a pain sometimes i would rather use a virtual drive, since i posted the original post, i found a prog called virtual drive creator, works great. one problem though. everytime i make one, i mount the game and all, but eventually the virtual drive disappears! and i dont understand this, and after that happens the game tries to read of the lost drive, and gives me an error about it. and when i recreate another drive, i have to reinstall the game all over again. my os is xp home:mad:

I always have used PowerISO for Virtual Drives. there are still tons of other softwares that can mount images for you. PowerISO, MagicISO, and more! If you have to many troubles just move on to the next.
