I can't rename folders!

I have been trying to rename folders in windows 10, but I can't for some reason. I have some files I can not remove from my windows. When I try to delete them I got a pop up message "the file name is too long". What does it mean? Do I need a software to resolve the problem?

I can highly recommend unlocker 1.9.2.
That will delete it for you one way or the other. (If it fails it will restart your computer and remove the files before windows can tell Unlocker what it can and can't do)

It also has a force rename feature. I recommend trying that first.

before you rename a folder, you should check whether you have opened a program in that directory; If so, turn it off and then rename that directory.
