DAC type: Integrated RAMDAC
Monitor: HP w2207 Wide LCD Monitor

Well my prob is that when I go into games like world of warcraft, or Assasins Creed and so on I get empty spaces in the game Wierd colorful lines comin off random things inculeding my charictor and it somtimes get so bad that i cant even see what im doing and i have to reset the game or sometimes reseting the resalution or changing some other settings like that fixes the problem for a bit... some days i dont get any problems and some days its just so bad I cant even play anything. I have the Latest drivers installed for my motherboad and my video card I have Duels of my vid card but im only using one becasue putting on sli mode only makes everything worse. I even get glitchs out of game when i click the Nvidia simble on my taskbar. Does anyone Have any know how to fix this problem??

pink and blue.... hmmmm. i know your card would be artifacting if the pixels were red.

still, looks like a overheating issue.

The video cards may be overheating as the member above suggested
Sometimes the lates vid card drivers arent always the best i have found from previous experience that installing an earlier driver for certain games is the only way to get it to work
also is your powersupply supplying enough power and are the voltages within tolerances , enough amps on the 12v rails to power your GPU

have you got any backround tasks running such as virus scans whcih could be sttealing all of your resources

I just checked my Vid card temp and Its very cool so dont think its an over heating issue I think its might be more along the lines of Software... I did notest It got insainly worse after one of the driver updates.. so ya Software would be a very posable thing but I have tryed 3 difrent versions so far and some did make a little diffrance but never totaly fixing the problem

a lot of the time with video drivers its just a lot of experimenting till you find the right one that works with that game ,

also make sure you have all the patches for thee game up to date as that can solve driver compatibility problems

all my Games are up to date and Ya Ill try to Expirament with some more divers... Ill get back to you guys if i can find one... I did find a desent one once and It lasted a wile and then my computer started messing up again prob because of the game updates.

I had a problem like this awhile back when I was upgrading my FX 5200 to what was supposed to be a 6800 or something to that effect. I installed the card and I got nothing but multicolored lines across my screen, I mailed it back and picked up an x700 from CompUSA that was on sale and it worked perfectly. I wouldn't rule out artifacting on your card, try some older drivers if you can find them but if they don't work, I might guess that your card might be dying. Thats just my opinion though, I could be wrong. :o

Good thought but... I have Sli Dueling these Cards and Enabling it just made the matter worse So I just had one card running everything but still had both in my computer... But Now I have The one that Wasnt doing anything at all u can pritty much say it was brand new and I took one of them out and put the one that wasnt being used before in its place and It didnt make any diffrence at all Even if both of them were faulty they would have probly a diffrent kind of glitch not exacly the same thing... O and i forgot to add that might help Figure it out It also Glitches on the start up screen when its loading the Windows sign Gitches what u make of that?

I know this is a crazy suggestion but have you tested it on a different monitor? It may actually be worth a shot as the pixelation on the screen sounds like a monitor problem.

Few things I do for my GPUs and people mock me for is I sit a 80MM fan on the backside of the card. It gets SUPER HOT and it helps lowers the temps on my cards. I use 2 tooth picks though to "prop" it up so it can push a breeze along the entire backside of it.

Use Rivertuner to set fan profiles to increase your speeds in case they are not working as hard as they should/could.
Worst case buy some 80mm fans and have them blow on the heat sink to help it out or buy custom coolers.

Joshy know what I think U might be right!! Im not 100% but I dont remeber this problem with my old monitor... I think I am going to try my old one for a day and see if i have any problems. ;)

Just to double check... do you have directX 9.0c installed? because on my laptop i can only have DX7 and when i play 9.0 games things are flying out of it and funky colors and all that.
