I dont get the upgrade Windows 7?

You know with the 'Ugrade Windows 7' I can get discount on but its an 'Upgrade'? I dont really want to put an OS ontop of another id like to do a fresh install but i can i do this with the 'upgrade' version? Im confused? Or do i have to buy the full version?

God. Why cant Microsoft make anything simple.

i reserved mine eraly on so i got my full version of home premium (64bit & 32bit) for £44

:( Im trying to look for the cheapest place i can get it and so fare Currys is the cheapest surprisingly :confused:
 
You could still do a clean install with the upgrade. You just need other media (such as a Vista or XP disc) to show you are eligible to upgrade. I got the upgrade and plan on doing a clean install.

Erm i have a non legit windows disc? Do you think it would still work?
 
You don't need the full version to install clean.

If you're upgrading from 32bit to 32bit, just throw the upgrade disc in while you're running Windows and run the installer.

Choose Custom Install, select your current OS partition, Format, Next.

This will back up all your data into a WINDOWS.OLD folder that you can access once the new OS is installed.

I don't know how it could be any simpler than this.

Oh i only have Windows XP 32-bit and i wanted to upgrade to Windows 7 64-bit :(

never knew you could do that, i was under the impression that you had to boot pc up into windows (older version) then insert windows 7 and then "upgrade"

You cant upgrade 32-bit to 64-bit without a fresh install.
