hello,

I recently bought a samsung SPH 530 Cellphone

but when I try to connect it to my computer via USB adapter,

it won't show any sign of the phone on my computer. Is there a special cord or something I have to buy to get it to work, or did I accidentally buy a screwed up phone?

any normal answer appreciated

no, i dont think there is anything wrong with your phone or the cable. its quite common, at least for me, that the computer doesnt detect the phone or any other devices for that matter. what i do is just to unplug the usb and re-plug it in a few times. i have a nokia phone too. not sure if yours does the same thing but when i connect my phone to the com, it's the phone that detect the connection first. i have to choose the connect option on my phone then my computer would detect the phone. hope that helps
