Email spam is email spam. Not much you can do with it, apart from try and find an add-on for Thunderbird for spam. You do use Thunderbird if I'm not mistaken, right?

yep! One thing though. I think deleting cookies solved it i think.
I use thunderbird. I will pay attention and try this first or it will be a military wipe
and new install. https://support.mozillamessaging.co...d-and-junk-spam-messages?s=training+spam&as=s

training and automatic delete i have not been successful. suppose this will work.
then again maybe im do to wipe. Also visiting google and investigating for a site on want.
the sites i have searched are not bad. Its constant advertisements about something ive
searched for in the past. I pretty much stay with sites i visit often or sometime.
I do not wonder off the beaten path. I don't think. ......

Happens here too, the same 'people' trying to 'sell me' the same stuff. Not much you can do about it to be honest. Maybe get some sort of spam blocker and a tougher filter?

I get this too, just easier to create a new email address and filter the vital emails to the new address. Tales of horror when I have accidentally opened emails at school and the teacher has seen it over my shoulder for viagra

Never did subscribe except to Newegg. Thats it. Used the link above though for training junk controls because they have been going away. Checked the junk directory and many in there. I look in there to make sure something in there is not marked as junk from maybe family. then i tag and mark as not junk so it stays in thunderbird. Lifes good right now. My learning curve. After 14 days i think Thunderbird will auto delete the content of the junk directory.
