I was wondering if this is how good the card is supposed to be, if so I just wasted about $50 on it, I can still return it to Newegg though. Also, what's a good video card?? I have 2 PCI Express x16 open(one is the one with the 6500), than I have 3 PCI open, so what should I get if this card just sucks? My budget is anything under $100.

I don't know, someone on here told me that it was a good card. so I guess the guy who recommended it either didn't know what he was talking about or just doesn't like me, lol.

A 6600 Is a good card, You can play BF2 on high if it means anything to you, Although I would suggest a 7300GS instead if you have the money..wont be much more at all.

The 6500 is a horrid card. It's specs are only about half that of the 6600GT. It's actually almost identical to the 6200. Specs are just slightly higher, but the memory interface is 64bit(compaired to 128bit on the 6200...)

I'd definetly return that card if you planned to do anything with it besides basic NON-3D stuff.

okay, still makes the $100 if you use the rebate, I just have 1 question before I get it though, how sharp is it, would I be able to see tiny objects clearly?

alright, thanks, so I'm going to try to get them to refund my money, than get that card, either that card or the 7600GS, only a $7 differance there, so which is the better of the two?

alright, thanks, I'm going to get that right as soon as I got the cash, might be a little while, I'm going to Ebay some stuff I'll probobly have about $190 once I sell the UMDs and the broken PSP. My current shopping cart is $237.06, I'll probobly take out 1 or 2 things, or work for my mom for the rest of the money.

I'm pretty sure he wasn't aware that I would get the 7600 at the time, so that's probobly the reason. I think he meant the first choice out of the 3 I listed.

Definatley get a 7600GS. Mine overclocks like a dream and plays GRAW on near max settings with no lag.

awesome, that's exactly what I was looking for, high quality, no lag, this computer's going to be great when I'm done with it, in my next shopping cart
I have the 7600GS,
3 4-pin power splitters(I probobly won't need that many, but it couldn't hurt to have extras),
1 floppy drive,
a new ethernet card,
a TV tuner,
a 120mm fan,
2 80mm fans,
1 fan for the proccesor,
Arctic Silver 5,
and than a heatsink for my ram,
the only other thing I'm going to get after this is another gig of ram(putting me at 1 1/4 gb), than I MIGHT get a 250 gig SATA HDD
